Questions
The questions we get on the first call.
Answered here so you can decide whether to have the call at all.
- What does The Trivals actually do?
- The Trivals is a strategy-led creative and digital marketing agency. We work across three disciplines: strategy (positioning, research, messaging), creative (identity, campaigns, content, web), and growth (paid media, search, lifecycle, analytics). Most engagements use all three, but each can be hired on its own.
- Where is The Trivals based?
- We work across two markets, Nepal and Australia, with teams in Kathmandu and Melbourne. Engagements run remotely by default, with on-site workshops at the start of most projects.
- How much does a project cost?
- Pricing depends on scope rather than hours. Positioning and messaging engagements typically start smaller than full identity or campaign builds, and retained growth marketing is billed monthly. Tell us the objective and we will come back with a scoped figure rather than a rate card.
- How long does a branding project take?
- A positioning engagement usually runs four to six weeks. A full identity system, including rollout assets, typically runs eight to twelve weeks from kickoff. Campaign work depends on production requirements. We agree the timeline in writing before any design work begins.
- Do you work with businesses outside Nepal and Australia?
- Yes. Those are the two markets we know best and hold offices in, but we take on work internationally where the objective is clear and the time-zone overlap is workable.
- What is a brand audit and what do I get?
- A brand audit is a written review of how your brand currently positions, presents and performs against its category. It covers positioning, messaging, visual identity, digital presence and measurement, and ends with a prioritised list of what to change first. It is a paid, standalone piece of work that can be commissioned without committing to anything further.
- How do you measure whether the work succeeded?
- We agree the measure before the work starts and report against it monthly. Business outcomes come first: revenue, qualified pipeline, cost per acquisition, retention. Channel performance and creative diagnostics sit beneath those to explain them. Reach and impressions are context, not results.
- Who owns the work once a project ends?
- You do. Final artwork, source files, brand guidelines and any accounts we set up on your behalf are handed over in full at the end of an engagement.
